This 14 mp Camera takes great pictures crisp and clear and compares well with my Nikon. After getting use to all the features I can honestly say I get great pictures all the time.
Photography is my hobby and I rate this camera as great value for money.

Night pictures are great as long as you know your lighting setting (you will get used to this) and this camera will do the rest. a 5 star buy

Kodak C195.This camera should not be on sale with the present `advert’ description!, 4 Feb 2014

Kodak C195.This camera should not be on sale with the present `advert’ description!

There is no software available from Kodak anymore and none is supplied with the camera; it is impossible to download any pictures from the cameras `internal memory’ to a laptop/PC via the supplied usb cable. Therefore, straight from the box, this camera is completely USELESS!

All the `Easyshare’ etc advertising blurb is just hot-air.

The only way that this item can function as a `camera’ is to fit (at extra cost) an SD-HC memory card. Even with an SD card fitted it is still impossible to download anything via the usb cable to a laptop/pc.

The only way to get pics from the camera is to physically remove the SD card from the camera and plug-it into your laptop/PC; (assuming that your laptop/PC has a suitable slot!).

The picture quality is not very good either, considering it is a new 14mp camera.

I’ve taken loads of shots with this camera (night/day/flash/zoom) whilst at the same time taking the same shot with a very old and battered Olympus c-370 3mp camera. The Olympus outperformed it on virtually every shot, except extreme close-up’s; and the old Olympus is by no means a good camera!

On the plus side, the battery life seems quite good. I took approx 60 pics, many with flash, and about 80 minutes of video-capture before the 2xAA Duracell batteries ran out. The video quality & sound are ok-`ish.

It was only £38 plus £6 for the SD-HC card and it will get knocked around quite a lot (that’s why I bought a cheaper camera) so I will probably keep it. Had I paid any more it would certainly be on it’s way back to Amazon for a refund.

Not sure why Amazon are selling this; it’s the sort of thing you’d expect to find on flea-bay, i.e. a discontinued item from a `defunct’ manufacturer, with no support or software, that requires you to spend `additional’ money on a separate product (SD-card) to make it work.
